Hello, I'm Vanessa Lee and I'm so happy you are here!

As an Australian that moved to the USA to marry my sweetheart in 2014 I found myself truly at home once I started my garden. Gardening has been a huge part of my life for the last 25 yrs and has always grounded me bringing immense joy. Like many others during the pandemic I decided to tackle something a little different and Pepperwood Flower Farm was born - a micro cut flower garden and floristry business in Long Beach CA. Pepperwood flowers supplied flowers to the downtown floral district partnering with Gather Flora, and focused on many gorgeous weddings along the Socal coastline! In 2024 an exciting opportunity for my family to move to North Carolina was presented and we grabbed it with both hands. 2025 was a year of re establishing the farm and getting to know the locals at the historic Leroy James Farmers Market.Thus far 2026 has been very productive with continued presence at the farmers Market and new relationships and product being sold at Davenport Harvest Market and Mayesh  in Raleigh. With eyes on expansion the future looks bright and I'm very much looking forward to continue to be a part of this great community with flowers, coffee and great conversation.
